About
Photography has been my passion, for most of my adult life. Having been born in Denmark I have attended and participated in many photographic Workshops in Europe. In the early years I was particularly inspired by Fashion and Portrait photographers such as Sam Haskins, David Bailey, Lord Snowdon, Irvin Penn and Richard Avedon.
Through photography I feel that I can respond visually to my world and create a contemporary art form. Where the painter uses his brush and paint, I use my camera as a starting tool. I learnt the art of photography using film but these days I work with digital equipment and personally do all aspects of the process needed to create a finished image.
I prefer shooting my work using available light and try to create an intangible, sensory element to the finished image. I aim to create an image that communicates beyond what is represented. I try to instil the image with its own life and to create a sense of wonder and mystery. I like to create images that make the viewer ask questions.
It’s never what it IS… it’s always how it FEELS

Hej Preben,
Web-siden her er super fin. Det ser rigtig godt ud, og med kanon-flotte billeder.
Jeg er så glad for at du har taget fotograferingen op igen, det ville altså være synd at spilde et så stort talent.
